The Google Nexus 9 has a score of 74.5, which is better than Microsoft Surface 2's 63.4 general score. Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0 OS, while Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS. The Google Nexus 9 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also much lighter and thinner than the Microsoft Surface 2.
Google Nexus 9 features a sharper display than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per display inch and a better 2048 x 1536 resolution. The Microsoft Surface 2 features much more memory for applications and games than Google Nexus 9, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity.
