Google Nexus 9 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), with a 74.5 score against 65.7. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 9 has the older 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though the Google Nexus 9 is a lot older and heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's body is still somewhat thinner.

Google Nexus 9 features a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has an inferior number of cores (but faster), and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64 bits processor. Google Nexus 9 features greater battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a better camera than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rates and a same resolution back camera, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a way bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and videos.
