The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a score of 74.6, which is just a bit better than Google Nexus 9's general score of 74.5. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has 9.0 Pie version while Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0 version, giving a couple nice extra features and increased performance. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) body is a lot newer, just a bit thinner and lighter than the Google Nexus 9.
The Google Nexus 9 has a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has lesser cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. The Google Nexus 9 features a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a little bigger display, a little higher pixels density and a slightly higher resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Google Nexus 9 features superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a 34 percent more battery size.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a much better camera than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have a camera with an 8 mega pixels resolution, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a way larger aperture to take better low-light images.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) not only is the best tablets in our comparison, but it's also cheap compared to the Google Nexus 9.
