The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a little bit better than Google Nexus 9, having a 74.6 score against 74.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's body is a little bit thinner than Google Nexus 9, although it's just a little bit heavier and was released about 9 months before. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the older 4.4 version and Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0.
Google Nexus 9 features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has doesn't have a GPU and an inferior number of 2300 MHz cores, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Google Nexus 9 also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a display that is just as good as Google Nexus 9's screen, although the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a little more pixels per inch of screen, a little bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1600 x 2560.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with greater battery duration than Google Nexus 9, because it has a 23 percent greater battery size.
Google Nexus 9 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Nexus 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Google Nexus 9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Nexus 9, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
