Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 74.5, which is slightly better than Google Nexus 9's score of 74.5. Both tablets we are comparing here use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version and Google Nexus 9 has Android 5.0 version. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is thinner and much lighter than the Google Nexus 9, although they were released with only a couple months difference.

The Google Nexus 9 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit better looking screen than Google Nexus 9, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a bit greater pixels quantity in each inch in the display.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB. Google Nexus 9 features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 6700mAh battery capacity.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 takes clearer photographs and videos than Google Nexus 9. Both have the same video definition, a 8 mega pixels camera and the same video frame rate.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones, making this tablet a great choice.
