The Google Nexus 9 has a global score of 74.5, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4's general score of 74.4. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 9 has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures a bit better videos and photos than Google Nexus 9. The Google Nexus 9 features a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 37 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Nexus 9, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, giving up some specs and features.
