Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than the Google Pixel C, getting a overall score of 65.1 against 59.4. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.4 version and Google Pixel C has Android 6.0 version. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is an older and a bit thicker device than the Google Pixel C, but Amazon was able to build it notably lighter anyway.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more powerful CPU than Google Pixel C, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores. Google Pixel C has just a bit better looking display than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has a little lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1800 x 2560px.
