These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 has the previous 14 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 construction is noticeably newer and thinner, but a lot heavier than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
