Comparison review
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a global score of 59.7, which is slightly better than the Honor Pad 9's score of 55.8. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has 9.0 Pie version and Honor Pad 9 has Android 13, providing lots of additional features and enhanced performance. Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s design is noticeably lighter than Honor Pad 9, but it is way thicker and was released 4 years before.
Honor Pad 9 features a much better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a much bigger screen, a greater display pixel density and a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features slightly more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Honor Pad 9, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a much powerful CPU than Honor Pad 9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores. Honor Pad 9 features a much longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
