Comparison review
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is much better than the Honor Pad 9's 55.8 global score. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a much older and just a bit thicker portable tablet than Honor Pad 9, but Amazon managed to build it notably lighter anyway. Both of these devices have Android OS, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the newer 4.2.2 version while Honor Pad 9 has Android 13, giving you some extra features and optimized performance.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a very superior processor than Honor Pad 9, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and more processing cores. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a much sharper screen than Honor Pad 9, because although it has a lot darker screen and a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560px resolution, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch of screen.
The Honor Pad 9 counts with a much better storage for applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Honor Pad 9 features a superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. The Honor Pad 9 shoots much better photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a larger aperture to capture better low light images and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
