The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a score of 65.7, which is much better than Honor Pad 9's 55.8 score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Honor Pad 9 has Android 13 version. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is a incredibly older and thicker device than the Honor Pad 9, but Samsung made it noticeably lighter anyway.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a much faster processor than Honor Pad 9, because although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Honor Pad 9 has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a lot higher 1600 x 2560px resolution, a much bigger display and a greater count of pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with just a bit better camera than Honor Pad 9, because although it has a back facing camera with much less mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture.
