The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a general score of 68.5, which is a lot better than Honor Pad 9's score of 55.8. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a newer 4.4.4 version while Honor Pad 9 has Android 13 version, so it gives some nice extra features. Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is noticeably older than Honor Pad 9, it's body is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Xperia Tablet Z has a little bit better screen than Honor Pad 9, although it has a much lower 1200 x 1920 resolution, a little bit smaller screen and a just a little less pixels per inch of display. Honor Pad 9 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Xperia Tablet Z has a much faster processing unit than Honor Pad 9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and an additional GPU. The Honor Pad 9 counts with a very superior camera than Xperia Tablet Z, because it has a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Honor Pad 9 has a really longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because it has a 38% bigger battery capacity.
