The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a global score of 67.9, which is better than HP ProPad 600's overall score of 58.2. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 operating system, while HP ProPad 600 comes with Windows 8.1 operating system. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's body is extremely thinner and notably lighter than HP ProPad 600, even though both were only released with a couple months difference.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a better looking display than HP ProPad 600, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit better processing power than HP ProPad 600, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have 4 CPU cores.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 takes just a bit better photos and videos than HP ProPad 600. They have a 8 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
