The Microsoft Surface 3 is better than the HP ProPad 600, with a 66.3 score against 58.2. Microsoft Surface 3 is a newer device, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than HP ProPad 600. The HP ProPad 600 and the Microsoft Surface 3 count with really similar processors, they have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory.

The HP ProPad 600 features a better looking display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a quite lower resolution of 1200 x 1920, it also counts with a quite higher display density. Microsoft Surface 3 captures slightly better photographs and videos than HP ProPad 600. They have a same resolution back facing camera.

The Microsoft Surface 3 features a way bigger storage for apps and games than HP ProPad 600, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. HP ProPad 600 features a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.

Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HP ProPad 600. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy HP ProPad 600, letting go a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
