Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a global score of 69.2, which is better than HP ProPad 600's 58.2 overall score. These tablets come with Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has older 8 version and HP ProPad 600 has Windows 8.1. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 design has the same thickness than HP ProPad 600, but it is somewhat heavier.
The HP ProPad 600 has a much better looking screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater pixels density and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920. The HP ProPad 600 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5's camera is just as good as the camera in HP ProPad 600, both have a same resolution back-facing camera. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has a much bigger storage to store more games and applications than HP ProPad 600, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The HP ProPad 600 counts with a superior battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has a 105 percent bigger battery size.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 costs a lot more than the HP ProPad 600, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
