Galaxy Tab Active is much better than HP ProPad 600, getting a 67 score against 58.2. Galaxy Tab Active is a just a little thinner and notably lighter tablet than the HP ProPad 600, even when both of them were released with only 6 months difference. The Galaxy Tab Active works with Android 4.4 operating system, and HP ProPad 600 has Windows 8.1 operating system.
The HP ProPad 600 has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a just a bit higher pixels quantity per inch of screen. HP ProPad 600 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.
HP ProPad 600 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the HP ProPad 600 also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab Active and HP ProPad 600 feature similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab Active has a much less megapixels resolution back camera.
The HP ProPad 600 features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has an 88% larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than HP ProPad 600, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HP ProPad 600. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get HP ProPad 600, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
