Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 2 is better than the HTC EVO View 4G, getting a global score of 63.4 against 56.4. Microsoft Surface 2's design is newer and notably thinner than HTC EVO View 4G's, but it's also way heavier. Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, and HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has just a little better performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit sharper screen than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a really bigger screen, a way better 1080 x 1920px resolution and a little better display density.
Microsoft Surface 2 features a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC EVO View 4G, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Microsoft Surface 2's camera is very similar to the HTC EVO View 4G one, and although the Microsoft Surface 2 has a much higher 1920x1080 video resolution, they both have the same resolution back camera.
HTC EVO View 4G features a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC EVO View 4G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC EVO View 4G. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get HTC EVO View 4G, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
