Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is way better than HTC EVO View 4G's 56.4 overall score. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while HTC EVO View 4G works with Android 3.2 OS. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 body is way newer and noticeably thinner than HTC EVO View 4G's, but it is also way heavier.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a little more vivid screen than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2160 pixels, a lot larger display and a greater pixels density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than HTC EVO View 4G, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better processing power than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has 1 more processing cores and 7 GB more RAM. HTC EVO View 4G has a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a camera that's just as good as the camera in HTC EVO View 4G, and although the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition, they both have a 5 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the HTC EVO View 4G, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC EVO View 4G. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC EVO View 4G, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
