These devices include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version and HTC EVO View 4G has Android 3.2 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features and improved performance.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features just a little better hardware performance than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has a greater number of cores and more RAM memory. HTC EVO View 4G counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater display pixel density.

The HTC EVO View 4G counts with a little bit better memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a SD memory slot that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC EVO View 4G, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0's camera is just as good as the camera in HTC EVO View 4G, they have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, a back camera with a 5 mega pixels and the same video frame rates.
