The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has a global score of 74.6, which is much better than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2's 56.3 general score. Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s body is way newer, a lot thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has 9.0 Pie version and Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 has Android 4.3 version, so it provides lots of additional features and better performance.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) both have very similar screens, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a bigger screen, a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much higher pixels count per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) takes much clearer photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) features much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a 22% bigger battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) is a lot more expensive than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
