Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad M1 is just a bit better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a general score of 61.5 against 58.6. The Huawei MediaPad M1 is an much older tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but Huawei managed to make it a little lighter and thinner anyway. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has an older 4.2.2 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei MediaPad M1 features a sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both of them have a screen of the same size, the same amount of pixels in each inch of display and exactly the same 1280 x 800px resolution. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Huawei MediaPad M1 takes better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much higher 5 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a much better 1920x1080 video definition. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a lot bigger storage to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
