The iPad Air (2020) is much better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, with a global score of 71.7 against 61.5. IPad Air (2020) is a way newer and thinner tablet than Huawei MediaPad M1, but it's notably heavier. IPad Air (2020) has iPadOS 14.x operating system, and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 operating system.
The Apple iPad Air (2020) features a little more vivid display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a really larger display, a greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a much better 1640 x 2360px resolution. Apple iPad Air (2020) counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 56 GB more internal storage.
The Apple iPad Air (2020) features a lot better processing power than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 64-bits CPU and a larger number of cores. The Apple iPad Air (2020) captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a lot better (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with much more MP.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPad Air (2020), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a couple features and specs.
