The LG G Pad 8.3 has a general score of 65.9, which is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 overall score. Even being the best tablet we compare here, we must tell that it's also a a little heavier and just a little thicker tablet. Both devices we compare here have Android operating system, but LG G Pad 8.3 has newer 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, so it gives a couple additional features.
LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit better looking display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution, a better amount of pixels per inch of display and a little bit larger display. The LG G Pad 8.3 has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
LG G Pad 8.3 counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 16 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. The LG G Pad 8.3 takes much better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both of them have the same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has just a little better battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity against 4600mAh.
LG G Pad 8.3 costs more than Huawei MediaPad M1, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
