The Microsoft Surface Go has a general score of 66.5, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 general score. Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 OS, and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 OS. Although the Microsoft Surface Go is much newer than the Huawei MediaPad M1, it's a little bit thicker and extremely heavier.

Microsoft Surface Go has a bit faster processing unit than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has a lower number of 1.6 gigahertz cores, it also counts with more RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a just a bit lower display density, a lot smaller display and a lot worse 1280 x 800 resolution.

The Microsoft Surface Go has a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Microsoft Surface Go shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a way more MP back camera.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Go.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
