Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a overall score of 63.2 against 61.5. Microsoft Surface Pro's design is older, much thicker and incredibly heavier than the Huawei MediaPad M1. Microsoft Surface Pro works with Windows 8 Pro operating system, and Huawei MediaPad M1 comes with Android 4.2.2 operating system.

Microsoft Surface Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has lesser processing cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and an additional graphics processing unit. The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a just a bit lower amount of pixels per inch in the display, a way smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1280 x 800.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a lot higher (Full HD) video quality.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
