Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has an overall score of 65.1, which is slightly better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 score. Even being the best tablet we are comparing, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 construction is incredibly thicker and much heavier than Huawei MediaPad M1. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 OS.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a little better performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has 2 lesser 1600 megahertz processing cores, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a lot lower 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, a bit lower count of pixels per inch in the display and a lot smaller screen.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot better video resolution.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, resigning some features and specs.
