The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, having a general score of 62.5 against 61.5. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has older 3.1 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's construction is a bit thicker and way heavier than Huawei MediaPad M1.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has a greater number of cores. The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a higher pixels density.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot higher 5 MP resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 24 GB more internal memory.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a really longer battery duration than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 6800mAh battery size against 4800mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features and specifications.
