The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a general score of 61.5, which is a bit better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's 57.5 general score. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has the newer 4.2.2 version and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version, counting with a couple additional features and some performance improvements. Huawei MediaPad M1's construction is just a bit heavier but extremely thinner than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and both of them were only released 6 months apart.

Huawei MediaPad M1 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels. Huawei MediaPad M1 and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids count with extremely similar memory for games and applications, both of them have equal internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 32 GB.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 features longer battery duration than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a 4800mAh battery size against 4000mAh.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 costs more than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
