Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1, with a 63.5 score against 61.5. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE design has the same thickness than the Huawei MediaPad M1, but it is just a little heavier. These tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has 4.0 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version.
Huawei MediaPad M1 and Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE both have very similar displays, because although the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE also has more internal memory.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE features a little better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
Huawei MediaPad M1 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because it has a much better (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with a much higher 5 MP resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
