Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has an overall score of 65.7, which is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 general score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s design is noticeably newer than the Huawei MediaPad M1's, but it is a little heavier and thicker. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing some extra features.
