Galaxy Tab Active is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1, having a score of 67 against 61.5. Although it's the best in this comparison, Galaxy Tab Active is a heavier and thicker tablet device than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active has 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2.
The Galaxy Tab Active features a processing unit that is just as good as the Huawei MediaPad M1 one, and although the Galaxy Tab Active has a graphics processing unit and more RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy Tab Active and Huawei MediaPad M1 both count with really similar screens, both of them have a screen with the same size, the same resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a higher pixels count in each inch of display.
Galaxy Tab Active counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, although it has a camera in the back with way less mega pixels resolution and a way lower (HD) video quality. The Galaxy Tab Active features a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB and 16 GB internal memory.
Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active, else you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple specifications.
