The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a global score of 74.6, which is much better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's score of 61.5. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Huawei MediaPad M1 were released with only 2 months difference, Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's design is way heavier but also a little thinner.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a better performing CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an extra graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a sharper display than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a bigger display, a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a lot better number of pixels per display inch.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 24 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 71 percent larger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
