Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is way better than Huawei MediaPad M1, having a 74.5 score against 61.5. Galaxy Tab S 8.4's construction is just a little lighter and somewhat thinner than Huawei MediaPad M1, even when they were released with only a couple months difference. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, so it offers some extra features and performance improvements.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a little bit larger screen, a way greater display density and a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a bit superior CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a way more megapixels back camera.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features just a little better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 4900mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a little more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
