Xperia Tablet Z has a score of 68.5, which is much better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 score. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, providing you lots of additional features. The Xperia Tablet Z features a bit faster CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a graphics co-processor and more RAM memory. Xperia Tablet Z features greater battery life than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a superior camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you want to save some money, you can get Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
