Xperia Z4 Tablet is a lot better than Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a 74.7 score against 61.5. Xperia Z4 Tablet is a somewhat heavier but a lot thinner tablet than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Xperia Z4 Tablet has a more recent 5.0 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, giving you a couple nice extra features.

Xperia Z4 Tablet features a much better looking screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a larger screen, a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a much greater display density.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a superior camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a camera in the back with a way higher resolution. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 24 GB more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet has superior battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 25 percent more battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, resigning a couple features and specifications.
