Huawei MediaPad M2 has an overall score of 65.5, which is better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's general score of 58.1. The Huawei MediaPad M2 body is incredibly newer, a little thinner and much lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1. These tablets use Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M2 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it offers a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and way more pixels per screen inch. The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a much faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 6 more cpu cores.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad M2, although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. The Huawei MediaPad M2 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a very superior battery life than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has a 42% more battery size.
