The Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a general score of 68.7, which is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M2's general score of 65.5. Although the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is extremely older than the Huawei MediaPad M2, it's design is a little lighter and just a bit thinner. These devices work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has 4.2.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M2 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 1,5 GB more RAM and 6 more processing cores. Huawei MediaPad M2 features a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB.
Huawei MediaPad M2 features a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity against 4450mAh.
