Comparison review

Huawei MediaPad M2 has an overall score of 65.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab E 8.0's global score of 64.9. Both tablets we compare here use the same Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, so both of them should provide the user identical OS features. The Huawei MediaPad M2 construction is somewhat thinner and a little lighter than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, even when both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

Huawei MediaPad M2 has a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a way better screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a lot better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a higher pixels number per inch of screen.

Huawei MediaPad M2 features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has 32 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures way better videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad M2, although it has a camera in the back with way less megapixels and a much worse 1280x720 (HD) video quality.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a little longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4800mAh.
