Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a score of 74.5, which is much better than the Huawei MediaPad M2's 65.5 score. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad M2 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Huawei MediaPad M2, despite of the fact that it was released about 13 months before.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a sharper display than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has a little bigger display, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a higher number of pixels per screen inch. The Huawei MediaPad M2 and the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 count with similar memory to store more apps and games, both of them have a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB and equal internal memory.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has 4900mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a superior camera than Huawei MediaPad M2. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a 8 MP resolution back camera and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
