Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch is slightly better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, getting a 68.1 score against 67.9. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch is a newer and just a bit thinner tablet than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it is also a lot heavier. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch has 5.1 Lollipop version and Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a lot better display than Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels. Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch also has a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 and Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch both have incredibly similar CPUs, although the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has lesser RAM and 4 less CPU cores. Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch features a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch takes much better photos and videos than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a back facing camera with much more MP and a larger aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited environments.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch is also cheaper than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, which makes it an easy choice.
