Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch, getting a 74.5 score against 68.1. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's construction is thinner and way lighter than Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch, although it was released about a year before.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a way better display than Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and a lot higher screen pixel density. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch also has more internal storage capacity.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 10-inch features a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 36 percent more battery size.
