Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has a general score of 75.8, which is much better than iPad mini (A17 Pro)'s global score of 63.3. Despite being the best portable tablet in this review, the Huawei MediaPad M5 10 design is somewhat thicker and way heavier than the iPad mini (A17 Pro). Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, and iPad mini (A17 Pro) has iPadOS 18.x operating system.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 10 has a much greater hardware performance than iPad mini (A17 Pro), because it has 2 more processing cores. IPad mini (A17 Pro) features a slightly better display than Huawei MediaPad M5 10, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1488 x 2266, it also counts with a just a bit higher screen pixels density.
IPad mini (A17 Pro) has a better camera than Huawei MediaPad M5 10, although it has a back-facing camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution. Huawei MediaPad M5 10 counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than iPad mini (A17 Pro), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Huawei MediaPad M5 10 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB.
