Both tablets in this review work with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and Blackview Tab 16 Pro has Android 14, providing you some additional features. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 design has the same thickness than the Blackview Tab 16 Pro, but it is notably lighter.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a sharper display than Blackview Tab 16 Pro, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixels number per screen inch and a better 1600 x 2560 resolution. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a much faster CPU than Blackview Tab 16 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
