The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is way better than the OnePlus Pad 2, with a overall score of 75.5 against 58.4. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is an a lot older and thicker tablet than the OnePlus Pad 2, but Huawei was able to make it a lot lighter anyway. Both tablets in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while OnePlus Pad 2 has Android 14.
The OnePlus Pad 2 features just a bit better looking display than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has a just a little lower number of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a way larger screen and a higher resolution of 2120 x 3000. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus Pad 2, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a very superior processor than OnePlus Pad 2, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The OnePlus Pad 2 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M5 8. Both have a back camera with a 13 megapixels resolution and the same aperture.
The OnePlus Pad 2 has a much better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 9510mAh of battery capacity.
