The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, with a overall score of 77.5 against 75.5. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro design is newer, but extremely thicker and heavier than the Huawei MediaPad M5 8. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has Android 8.0 Oreo version, so it provides you some nice extra features and better performance.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a much better pixel density.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a very superior battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 7600mAh of battery capacity against 5100mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro shoots a bit better videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad M5 8. Both of them have the same resolution back-facing camera.
