Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has an overall score of 75.5, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's overall score of 74.6. Huawei MediaPad M5 8's design has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but it's notably lighter. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has Android 4.4.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has a little bit less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also counts with a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 and Huawei MediaPad M5 8 count with incredibly similar processing units, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4 lesser and slower cpu cores and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with an extra GPU.

Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB and more internal storage. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 takes a lot better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has a lot more megapixels camera in the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has an 8220mAh battery size against 5100mAh.
