Galaxy Tab S5e is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 8, getting a 78.6 score against 75.5. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S5e has 10 version and Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though Galaxy Tab S5e is extremely heavier than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, it's thinner and also newer.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Tab S5e. They have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores.
