The Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 score. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro operating system, and Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 works with Android 4.3 operating system. Despite being the best in this review, Microsoft Surface Pro's body is a lot thicker and noticeably heavier than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a little bit worse pixel density and a really smaller screen. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with more RAM memory and a much better graphics processor running at 650 megahertz.
The Microsoft Surface Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 takes greater videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a lot higher resolution back facing camera and better video frame rates.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
