Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a score of 65.1, which is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's overall score of 60.4. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 works with Android 4.3 operating system. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Microsoft Surface Pro 2's body is much thicker and much heavier than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has lesser cores and doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a way smaller screen and a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a greater camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 504 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a really longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 costs more money than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
