Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT, getting a 60.4 score against 58.4. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a way lighter and somewhat thinner portable tablet than the Microsoft Surface RT. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 comes with Android 4.3 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT operating system.
Microsoft Surface RT counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface RT also has more RAM memory and a faster GPU running at 520 MHz. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a brighter screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little worse 1280 x 800px resolution, it also counts with a better screen density.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 takes much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a much better 5 MP resolution back camera. The Microsoft Surface RT features a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Microsoft Surface RT, giving up some features and specifications.
